Yu, a Micromax subsidiary that came into the existence last year, few days ago revealed its fourth budget Smartphone the ‘YU Yunique’ priced at Rs 4,999. 4G enabled YU yunique supports TDD band 40 (2300MHZ) and FDD band 3(1800 MHZ) for india alongside.
The YU Yunique features an 8-MP auto-focus camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and 2-MP fixed focus 83-degree wide-angle front-facing camera with 3P lens and f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone camera features Geo-tagging, face direction, HDR, Panorama mode and live filters.

At the low price of Rs 4999, It gives a support of 4G LTE and runs on 1.2 GHz QUALCOMM Snapdragon 410 processor. It has 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM with Adreno 306 graphics and 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via micro-SD card. The Smartphone works on Android 5.1 lollipop with corning gorilla glass 3 protection with some tweaks added by YU.
It measures 134.5 x 67.5 x 8.3 mm and weighs 128 grams though it seems smaller. The micro-USB port has been given on the bottom whereas headset socket exists on the top. The power button has been placed in between the volume buttons. The Smartphone includes 720X1280 HD pixel resolution with pixel density of 312 ppi. The rear camera is surrounded by a stylish thick ring with LED flash. The 4.7 inch display is powered by an IPS LCD panel along with HD resolution. The dynamic range of the camera is so good.

The smartphone includes connectivity features such as wi-fi b/g/n, wi-fi hotspot, GPS, A-GPS,FM radio, micro-USB v2.0 connectivity and Bluetooth (4.0). The smartphone is also backed by an non-removable 2000mAh LI-PO battery.
