Sony unveils Xperia Z3+ which is a premium edition of the Xperia Z3. The Xperi20a Z3+ is identical to Japan’s Xperia Z4 in terms of design and specifications.
Sony Xperia Z3 plus has been released with a display of 5.2 inches (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD IPS LCD multi-Touchscreen with a density of 424 pixels per inch which is rugged by the IP68 protection which makes the phone waterproof and dust tight.
It comes with an inbuilt memory of 32 GB which is further expandable up to 128 GB via micro SD card and 2 GB of RAM. It comes with a stunning 20.7 MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and features such as 1/2.3” sensor size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama and also sports a 5.1 MP front facing camera with Exmor R BSI sensor and 25mm wide-angle lens.
The Xperia Z3 plus smartphone is equipped with all the advanced sensors such as accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass and barometer and features all the connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, NFC, FM Radio with RDS, micro USB v2.0, 3G, 4G/LTE and 3.5mm jack.
The handset is powered by the Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57 processor with Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset and loaded with a latest operating system Android v5.0 (LOLLIPOP).
Xperia Z3+ is a Dual(Nano) SIM smartphone with dimensions of 5.76 x 2.83 x 0.27 inches (146.3 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm) and weighs 5.08 oz (144 g). In the audio department, Sony has added an LDAC (the ability to enjoy top quality tracks wirelessly) and AHC (Automatic Headset Compensation, providing personalised sound).
The device is powered by 2930 mAh Non removable Li-ion battery which delivers standby backup up to 580 hours (2G)/ up to 590 hours (3G). It delivers talk time up to 12 hours (2G)/ up to 17 hours (3G) and a music play up to 91 hour. It will be available with many colour choices such as Black, White, Copper and Ice Green.
